Prescription Policy

Beginning January 2023, Arnold Pet Station will no longer be accepting online prescription fax requests from outside pharmacies due to the overwhelming increase in requests the doctors have been experiencing. Instead we will be giving our clients written prescriptions that they can upload or mail into the pharmacy of their choice. Many veterinary hospitals have been experiencing communication issues with outside pharmacies, which in turn can result in client concerns or prescription delays.

As a reminder, Arnold Pet Station has an in-house pharmacy where we can quickly fill most prescriptions on the spot. Clients can call us or use our pet portal to request prescription refills to be picked up in our office. This is the fastest way to get your pet’s medication. We also make it easy to redeem manufacturer’s rebates on flea & tick and heartworm preventives, often matching or priced lower than the online resellers.

If you prefer the convenience of products being delivered directly to you, our online store offers a wider variety of pet products, brands, foods, supplements and medications. Requests for refills are sent directly to us for approval and then shipped to your door, saving you time.

Our partnership with Purina Pro Plan Vet Direct is yet another convenient way for our clients to order their pet’s food and supplies for home delivery. Their rewards program and monthly coupons offer more options for you to save money!

If you do choose another internet or catalog source for your pet’s prescription, please know that many manufacturer’s guarantees are not valid if their products are purchased through non-approved channels.
