Doggy Daycare

Does everyone in your house work all day? Is your dog home alone? Have a full day of errands planned? Why not take advantage of our daycare service for dogs and give them a day of fun and play at Arnold Pet Station!

You can leave your dog with us on your way to work, and pick him or her up in the evening. In the meantime, your pet will get lots of love and attention and plenty of time outside with two large play groups and 2 potty walks to play with our caring kennel staff. If your pet is unable to play out in the yard with other dogs, we do offer individual or family play for an additional fee.

Daycare is available every Monday through Friday, with the exception of major holidays.

Drop off: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Pick up: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

All pets are required to be current on vaccinations prior to admission to the kennel for doggie daycare. Written verification is required if vaccines were not administered at Arnold Pet Station.

All pets will also be asked to complete a temperament test prior to their first day of doggie daycare. This will be scheduled for a free half day of daycare to test your pet in our different play groups to see which one they fit in based on their size and temperament. At pick up the kennel staff will let you know how they did and their recommendations.

All dogs are required to show proof of a negative fecal sample within the last six months. If your dog does not have up to date fecal results, we can collect a sample and have it tested while your pet is here for doggie daycare.

Dogs require: Distemper, Rabies and Bordetella, Flu – bivalent (covers H3N8 & H3N2).

Standard Boarding

All sizes, no weight restrictions.

Includes:

Frequent interactions with our team and always our loving care.
Soft bedding and continuous water in a 3 x 9 indoor climate controlled kennel.
Play Time: Two daily, outdoor play sessions (weather permitting). This is typically group play with other dogs the same size and temperament. If your pet cannot be in group play, we do offer individual or family play for an additional fee.
Additional potty walks early morning and evening.

Indoor Accommodations

Our Canine Kennels are comfortable for your pet and secure for your peace of mind. The INDOOR runs are double-sided and sealed between cages. All runs are the same size with ample room for any size dog (or dogs, if you would like your pets to share a kennel). With no-spill water bowls and gradually sloped floors, your pet will stay clean during his or her vacation at Arnold Pet Station.

Indoor Climate-controlled

Our Canine facility has its own heating and air conditioning system (separate from the hospital and from the feline facility) to keep your pets comfortable year-round.

Outdoor Play

We have two large play yards where dogs can get out and exercise, either with other dogs, or individually. (Please see our kennel policies for info on group vs. individual play.) Our trained kennel staff will supervise your pets at all times while outdoors to help prevent any accidents. You can feel safe in the knowledge that your dog will get quality personal attention while you are away.

Included Comforts of Home

We provide bedding for all pets, but you are welcome to bring an item or two (a bed, quilt or a few toys) that will help the transition and allow your dog to feel like Arnold Pet Station really is their “Home Away From Home.”

Meals

We feed all our guests Purina EN. If your pet is on a specific diet we are happy to feed any foods that you provide. Please be considerate of our staff and our storage space and bring only the amount of food that your dog will need for the boarding stay.

Admission Policies, Requirements, and Useful Boarding Information

GENERAL POLICIES FOR ADMISSION TO THE KENNEL

Vaccinations:

All pets are required to be current on vaccinations prior to admission to the kennel. Written verification is required if vaccines were not administered at Arnold Pet Station.

Medical:

All pets will be checked for fleas upon arrival. If evidence of fleas is found, your pet will be bathed and Advantage will be applied. A nominal charge will be incurred for this service.

Our doctors are available for emergency treatment of pet guests, but we ask that you please schedule a separate appointment if your pet needs to be examined for any reason. We will make every effort to schedule this appointment on the same day that you drop off or pick up your pet. If your pet requires daily medication, there is an additional nominal charge for this service.

Deposits and Cancellations:

Just like a hotel, we will require a credit card number to hold your pet’s “room” reservation. You must notify us of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to drop-off. Failure to do so will result in a $25 cancellation charge.

Kennel Tours:

Kennel tours are available for all clients Tue through Fri 10am – 6pm. We are proud of our kennel and are happy to answer any questions you may have about your pet’s stay with us.

Kennel Admission & Pick Up appointments will be scheduled during the following time frames:

Mon – Fri: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (the afternoon pick up will incur a 1/2 day charge)
Sat: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Sun: 8:00 am – 11:00 am Pickup only, requires prepayment

We prefer that pets be dropped off and picked up at least one hour before closing. (See drop off and pick up hours listed above.) This will ensure that your pet has time to become acclimated to the kennel environment and our professional staff has time to verify that your pet is safe and comfortable.

Feline Boarding

Cat "Condo" Accommodations

Our Feline Condos are comfortable for your pet and secure for your peace of mind. The kitty condos are large and we also offer double-sized condos. Cats from the same family are welcome to share ‘adjoining’ suites for some extra space.
